My guest today lived most of her life in Pennsylvania where she admittedly wrote ‘mostly terrible short stories’ while working, pursuing an undergraduate degree, and raising her son. When she moved to Colorado, she gained recognition as a local playwright. Calico Lane, her memoir, was launched in January 2022 and later that year won the 2022 Best Indie Book Award in the LGBTQ Memoir category.
