EPISODE SUMMARY

My guest today is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, author, and speaker who is passionate about empowering women. After experiencing her own traumatic events, she pursued a career as a mental health therapist. During her journey, she chose to coach women who had lost their voices. She believes it’s important to begin nurturing a little girl’s voice, if not, she might become a part of the next generation sitting in her office chair, feeling stuck or broken. This very thought, along with inspiration from her 8-year-old daughter is what encouraged her to write the children’s book “My Voice Is My Superpower.” Also, she founded Our Wings of Hope, an online platform that provides women with essential resources. Welcome to Authors Over 50, Michelle Davey.
