My guest today is a retired Wildlife Biologist who writes poetry, humor, and essays about topics like biology, horsemanship, and wildfires. She currently lives on a hobby farm near Spokane, Washington. When she isn’t writing, riding, or shoveling manure, she spends her time gardening, up-cycling wool sweaters, and repairing vintage sewing machines to keep them out of landfills. She published her first book Riding Lessons, Things I Learned While Horsing Around, when she was 60 years old. Welcome to Authors Over 50, Michelle Eames.
