Since her teen years, my guest today has wanted to know why people believe and live as they do — and to better understand her mother’s mental illness. After receiving her M.A. in Creative Writing and English at Ohio University, she taught literature and composition part-time at Temple University (Philadelphia) and the University of Colorado (Colorado Springs). She has served on the editorial staff of three National magazines—one of which published a number of her short feature articles, and she was a Senior Syndication Writer at TV GUIDE Magazine. Her first novel is “Stiff Hearts,” her quirky novel is titled “Hologram,” and she is working on a fictional memoir called “The Autobiography of Lucille Muhr.” Welcome to Authors Over 50, Jo Deniau.
