My guest today has had a career as a health educator and is currently professor emeritus of health and human sexuality at Mount San Antonio College in Southern California. But with retirement she has fulfilled her desire to return to her early passion for creative writing. Her first book, Our Song: A Memoir of Love and Race, was published this year at the age of 70.
