EPISODE SUMMARY
My guest today is a subversive feminist who masquerades as a little old lady with blue hair. At twenty-two, in the mid-seventies, she packed up her three-year-old daughter and moved from Minneapolis to the Women Writers Center in New York state. For a year, she studied writing and literary criticism with second-wave feminists. She has degrees in English and Communication, had a career in education, and in retirement writes novels and essays.
