EPISODE SUMMARY
My guest today loves stories – reading and writing them, hearing and telling them. He has written four books, all very different from each other. His first, is about hiking trips with his best friend. His memoir is about his adoption as an infant and the discovery of his birth mother’s identity when he was nearly fifty. A third and weirdest book, consists entirely of conversations between him and his beloved dog. And his newest, is a novel based on the life of his grandfather, who was both a gifted preacher and a convicted felon.
