My guest today is a native of New Orleans and was raised as a military brat overseas and in the Midwest. She resides these days in California and Oregon. She’s taught Spanish at the high school and college levels, was an executive at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for over two decades, and now does medical interpreting in Central America and the Dominican Republic in her retirement. She loves rescue dogs, music, and gardening. She’s written her debut book, Yes, Again: (Mis)adventures of a Wishful Thinker, about her experiences with life, loss, online dating, and love. Her moving story has been praised for being hilarious, honest, and full of hope. Welcome to Authors Over 50, Sallie Weissinger.
